We Long For That Day!

“All nations whom You have made will come and worship before You, Lord, and they will glorify Your name.” Psalm 86:9

This is the promise and the hope we have. One day, we who have put our faith in Christ will stand around the throne of God and worship with people from every tribe, nation, and language. We long for that day! Yet, we never could have imagined how we would see such vivid glimpses of it here on earth.

At School to the Nations, we have the privilege of working with believers all around the world to produce a gospel film called “The HOPE” in the languages of the unreached people groups. God has supernaturally connected us to believers in countries all around the world who share the same vision of reaching the unreached. Recently, we were on a call with some of our friends in Africa, and our friends in a restricted country in Asia, at the same time. Three different time zones, three different languages, three different cultures, yet united in Christ as brothers and sisters. We pray together, laugh together, and pursue Christ together. It was a beautiful glimpse of what Heaven will look like.

These men and women are not all scholars, not all great speakers, or even all missionaries or pastors. They are simply people who love Jesus and have stepped up to the call of making Him known. We are seeing believers from Africa in Asia, Europeans in Africa, South Americans in Africa, and the list goes on and on. All working together for one purpose: to make Jesus known!

This is the call for all of us: to make Jesus known among the nations! Whether that be praying for those who are going, supporting those who go, or going ourselves, the call remains the same. There are 4.5 billion people around the world who have no idea there is a God who loves them. We are charged with the task, by Jesus Himself, to go and tell them who He is.

God is on the move to get the Gospel to the unreached in ways we have never seen before in all of missions history! From the west to the east, God is uniting the church as one body with a single focus: bringing glory to Him by reaching the unreached with the good news of Jesus Christ! Prayerfully consider: in what way is God leading you to follow His call?
